When Nora and I were walking to school this morning, we came across another boy from her class walking with his mother. His mother and I started asking questions like, “Are you looking forward to seeing [other child in class]?” of our children. They weren’t very responsive, but when we listed a few more names, the lad spoke up, “And [only other girl in class]!” His mother said, “And Nora, too!” Then the little runt said, “But [only other girl in class] is prettier!”
